Abel Tasman Great Walk (Day 34)

We didn't do the whole Abel Tasman Great walk, which usually takes 3 to 5 days to complete, but we chose the best part of it as a day walk. Looking at our rusty map we've calculated that the Headland track via Gibbs Hill should be maximum 15 km of pleasant walking along the beaches and some jungle forest, but it turned out to be 23 km! It took as almost 8 hours and a lot of energy (again, it would have been very  nice to track our walk with GPS for exact distance and elevation, etc), but we were extremely happy with the day, since the scenery was amazing, the seals very cute and the weather turned out to be great (I even dipped myself into the ice cold sea!).
