We are slightly ahead of the peak season and therefore the masses of tourists in New Zealand.
This beach is about 1500 meters long, and for the last couple of days, we had to share it with about 5 other people... Behind the bush line though, there is a huge camping site for up to 850 (!) cars/campervans, which in the summer is full day after day.
It is of course somewhat colder during our visit, but I prefer sweet solitude over unbearable heat ;)
Beach: Totaranui beach, Abel Tasman National Park, South Island.
